About me

Aline Pascutti - Professional violinist and violin teacher

Hello! I’m Aline Pascutti — violinist, educator, and lifelong learner. I hold a Master’s degree in Violin Performance and am a certified Suzuki Method teacher, dedicated to guiding students of all ages on their unique musical journeys.

My teaching blends a strong technical foundation with deep attention to sound, expression, and the joy of learning. I believe in the incredible capacity we all have to grow — and that music is one of the most powerful ways to awaken that potential!

I created the Violin Flix website so I can reach even more people and share the joy of playing this beautiful instrument!

Outside of teaching, I’m also a mother to a curious and musical three-year-old daughter. In my free time, I love to dance and practice yoga — both of which inspire my approach to movement, presence, and creativity in music.

It’s a joy to share what I love, and I’m honored to be part of each student’s path with the violin!

A little fun story about how I started teaching online

My journey into online violin teaching began in the most unexpected way—during the pandemic, a time when so many of us had to adapt and reinvent how we connect, learn, and share our work.

I had just registered a profile in a big online services platform when I received a message from my first potential student. He said he had played the instrument for a few years when he was a child and that he was interested in restarting violin lessons. As I read through the message and scheduled the first class, I had no idea what was coming. When the lesson started, the student could barely hold the bow, but as the lesson progressed I realized something strange was going on—this “beginner student” was playing far too well. A few notes in, the surprise was revealed: it was none other than world-renowned violinist Ray Chen, pulling a lighthearted prank!

That moment was not only surreal and hilarious, it was also pivotal. It showed me the incredible potential of teaching online and connecting with people around the world through music. Thanks to Ray Chen, many students resonated with my way of teaching and my profile became one of the most successful ones in the platform. From that day on, I embraced the virtual classroom wholeheartedly, and it became a meaningful part of my work as a violin teacher.

Since then, I’ve had the joy of guiding students from different backgrounds and countries, all from the comfort of our homes—proof that music truly transcends borders.
